One of the features of Woolton are the outstanding award winning floral displays that Woolton In Bloom put on each year.

The Gateacre Society which performs the same function as the Woolton Society for the area abutting Woolton, and historically, overlapping it, and the Wavertree Society are other local societies.

Many of the landmarks of Woolton are covered by The Victorian Society, and the 20th Century Society, and of course many are listed. Images of listed buildings may be seen here
